Jai and his sexy (or ‘sexual’) pose.
I got to sleep until 6am today, and slept a bit more on the bus. I didn’t exactly feel prepared but I knew I didn’t want to fall asleep during the poplhlth test…
This is the place my ‘biomed’ friends call the secret base. I was hoping for a place with tables but today, this was a good place to study. Just outside is a balcony, where we could go out to for fresh air whenever. By 5:30pm it was already dark, and with the test at 7pm, we decided to stop studying.
We were joking around, and then came the usual “Gerald! You’re so quiet!” topic.
We then played the ‘shout as loud as you can’ game. Jai started off by yelling “Kangaroo faeces!”
And then, seeing it was dark, seeing noone was there except Jai and Sandy, seeing how I was stressed about everything, I really did shout as loud as I could.
…Only to find out that Brian, Waldron, David, and a few random people in the balcony above us heard me :s “Gerald! Was that you!!!”
And, well, what I yelled was “Jai’s a whore!”
He didn’t talk to me for the rest of the day.
But… it felt so good. After a few weeks of feeling absolutely hopeless, becoming so cynical about everything, and, most of all, being completely deteriorated by other people… It was such a stress reliever.
And I think it helped me with my test too. It wasn’t too bad!
I really, really hope I did good :D

Today’s lectures for biosci 101 and 107 were guest lectures and so… everyone left.
It’s fair I guess, with the test tomorrow and all! But… didn’t know that almost everyone would leave…
Poor guest lecturers. I bet they prepared for ages for these lectures!!

What we did in Biosci101 lab today.
It was pretty frantic, my lab partner Audri doing the measurements while I had to… run back and forth taking the samples out of the water bath D:
It was to test whether someone had diabetes, but our virtual patient was healthy :D
And then there was the group discussion for this lab… we were getting marked for participation in a discussion about insulin and its effects on diabetes. I was literally shaking because I hate it! But thankfully I knew everyone in my group so I was a lot more comfortable… got full marks for that section :DD

Pretty frustrating, having a VGA camera

Just trying to show how empty the bus was today.

But then again.. of course it would be empty if I take a bus that comes at ten past six in the morning!

And here’s Roberto going on with his fat jokes again… Apparently I’m a lot bigger than the sun. And I cause world famine.

So I cheer myself up by going to study with Andrew, and playing with this ladybug. I think I was watching this ladybug carrying out its life processes longer than I was actually studying…

Did you know you can get AIDS if you drink too much of your girlfriend’s breast milk?
I know, it’s sad.

Chemistry lab! It was a real intense one but I still managed to take a photo of the two people in front of me… Claudia and Andy, they’re really cheerful people so despite the pressure in every lab, it’s really fun :D
I was really lucky today as well because I actually didn’t follow the instructions… as in did things that was almost completely contradictory to the given method… but I still managed to get a fair result! Hopefully my final mark will be good too…
